Marry Like a Champion

Dana and Kevin June 21, 2014

Dana and Kevin didn't need the luck of the Irish (a tribute to their days at Notre Dame) to get them through their wedding day! They had each other and the closest of their family and friends to help with that!  These two spent a lot of time thinking about how to make their wedding day as important and enjoyable for their guests as it would be for themselves. They thought of even the smallest things like what the guests could do while they were waiting on dinner to be served...A cross word puzzle!! I think it was such a cute and creative idea, plus the guests loved it! Lots of thought and creativity went in to week's worth of activities and the day of their wedding. Dana and Kevin wanted to show their guests why they chose Jackson Hole for their destination wedding.  The weekend included bringing guests to Spur restaurant and bar which Jackson Hole voted "Best Chef". This was followed up with an epic trip to Jenny Lake the next day and a hike to Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point. The day of the wedding continued with more fun things to do and see around Jackson. Dana and Kevin wed at Our Lady of the Mountains, a beautiful Catholic church in Jackson. The ceremony included a few readings, a responsorial psalm, an alleluia, and an Ava Maria. This was all topped and concluded with a final blessing of the Notre Dame Alma Mater, "Notre Dame Our Mother." Not to be missed was the thoughtful  "Marry Like A Champion" sign! It was so awesome to watch guests put their arms around each other and sing the alma mater!! After the ceremony, guests took a ride up the famous aerial tram at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. While guests were enjoying the views from the top of the Rendezvous bowl, Dana and Kevin went off with their photographer Katy Gray to capture a few pics in some of Jackson's iconic locations. They met up with guests at Calico Restaurant for cocktail hour full of lawn games and photo booth opportunities! They sat for dinner, Dana's dad gave a tear-jerker toast followed by a toast from her brother. A lovely dinner with family and friends and a little cake (decorated with a beautiful view of the Tetons) closed out the evening and they shut it down like a champion...

Marry Like A Champion...They definitely did!
